Meet Ms. Holt
Hi there! My name is Morgan Holt. This is my third year teaching third grade at Dilworth. Last year I was honored with being awarded New Teacher of the Year. Prior to teaching at Dilworth, I completed my student teaching in third grade at Beverly Woods Elementary and spent the rest of the year in a long-term position as a fourth grade teacher there. I grew up in south Charlotte and currently reside in Dilworth. From first grade through high school, I attended Charlotte Latin School and spent the following four years at Washington and Lee University where I graduated with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in Creative Writing. After graduation, I came home to Charlotte to work on my Masters of Art in Teaching which I will complete in the spring. When I'm not teaching or in class, I love being outside, shopping, and exploring the Queen City!

While I miss my family in Indy and Chicago, I love exploring North Carolina. I cannot wait for another great year in third grade with your child!
